What is an average KD in Call of Duty: Warzone?

Kill to death ratio, or what is often referred to as KD, is one of the most popular stats when it comes to Call of Duty: Warzone, as many players wonder whether or not theirs is above or below average.

One of the most exciting aspects of Warzone is racking up large amounts of kills with your teammates on the way to securing a win. However, it is always in good fun to have bragging rights for who has the highest KD with the people you drop into Verdansk ’84 with.

With players often wondering if their KD is good or not, they look for what is considered to be an average Warzone KD and see where they stand when compared to it.

Players will find that the average Warzone KD is 1.00, meaning that a player with this stat gets one kill per death, which is not horrible for a battle royale game like Warzone, where you can get eliminated in the blink of an eye.

However, you may have a little less than a 1.00 and still not really be below average considering that deaths caused by eliminating yourself or a teammate crashing a helicopter count towards your KD even though the death was not caused by losing to an enemy player.

A Warzone KD significantly lower than 1.00, such as .75, is considered to be below average, while a KD above a 1.00 such as 1.5 to 2.0 is considered to be above average.

Some exceptional players will have KDs between 3 and 6 who are in the top 1% of players. These are often professional players or talented content creators and should not be compared to someone who plays casually.

Those interested in seeing where their KD stacks up against the rest of the community can either check in the game itself by heading to the Barracks and clicking on the kills option under Warzone by visiting a stats tracking website like COD Warzone Stats Tracker to see if theirs is above or below average.
